Hello!

Does anyone know where in HK you can get a/go to a Hamam - an proper one - in a steam room with the black soap and scrub?
The body scrubs offered in the salons here don't come close!!

Haven't found any of those.... definitely miss the good scrub i regularly got in the Mosquee de Paris Hammam...
The closest you could get here, i've heard, is the Korean bath (were they apparently use sand to scrub your body). We're trying to find one with friends... I'll post back the experience / comparison with Hammam...

oh yeah, I also miss the good scrub. An other option is to get the black soap and the black scrubing loaf as well and do it by yoursel!!

I know this post is for HK, but just want to share that my friend and I accidentally encountered Turkish massage for the first time in Shenzhen. We went to this spa in SZ and they informed us that in order to stay overnight on a weekend, we need to book 3 hours instead of the usual 2 hour massage. We both has thai massage for 2 hours and decided to try turkish massage for the 3rd hour and not even knowing what it is. But surprisingly, it was really good and even though we don't have any previous comparison, I could say that we got a good scrub down =P.
