how to turn on wireless

hi

have installed netgear wireless and all set up ok - however when i go to the list of wireless connections it says there arent any...the wireless light on my laptop is not "on" and i dont know if that is the problem - any ideas? my laptop is a ibm thinkpad - anyone know how to turn it on?

Hi,

For thinkpads, you usually have to press Fn and F5 simultaneously to turn on bluetooth/ wi-fi. If this doesn't work, you may need to slide a switch on the front side of your thinkpad to turn on bluetooth/ wi-fi.
