Does anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy a Mac laptop from ?
or to buy a good second hand one?

All new Macs are a set price (see www.appleclub.com.hk), although retailers do have some scope for giving discounts on add ons such as extra ram, bigger hard drives, and bundled software. Best bet is either the Apple Store in Causeway Bay or the Apple Store in the Winway Building in Wellington Street (Central).

For second hand, try the WC computer centre (the good one, not the dodgy one). There is a v small shop in there that sells older refurbished Apple laptops. Can't remember which floor it's on, but it's on the MacDonalds side of the building. Cheaper than the new ones but I don't know how well they've refurbed them as I've not bought one from there.

Would it be cheaper to buy a mac book in one of the big malls in shenzhen?
How is it with intl warranty in HK or Shenzhen/China? I am not an Expat, just visiting my sister in HK. Is it a problem to get the laptop back home through customs?
