Graphic in MS Excel disappear when Printing/Preview
Posted by car_lover (658 days ago)
Has anyone encountered or have a solution to this problem, wld be appreciated. Got an excel file with a logo in it, at first no problem, then lately the logo seems to disappear whenever I try to print or even preview. Same file works fine on another PC.
Thanks in advance!

Check that your printer and the printer settings on the computer are not set to draft.
Some printers don't print images in draft mode.

Are you using the same version of software on the two machines? Was the document created on the machine where you have the logo disappear, or was it created elsewhere?
I find that if I switch word processing programs logos can sometimes disappear - and I simply paste them back in. There must be an easy fix, you simply have to find it.

Yeah, same software, it's actually Office 2000. That document was printed out ok before, only recently, found out that even in Ms Word, it also disappear while in print preview. I've also updated the Ms Office service pack. I still can't figure out what is the problem.

I would do a google search (or whatever search engine you prefer) to try and track down what other people have done. You are not the first person, so check out what others before you (and me) have done for the problem. I experience it so infrequently (actually when working on one specific activity) that i have never bothered, but I have found such internet searches are usually very, very productive. It may be frustrating initially as you refine the search, but I bet the fix is posted and available.
