Nuts...

Hello All,

Does anybody know where I can purchase large tubs of nuts (peanuts/cashews/mixed nuts).
Everywhere I have been seems to only sell the small containers.

Any help appreciated.

have you tried Gateway in Sheung Wan?

There is also a store in one of the lanes - they used to sell a big bulk canister - it's a mini Gateway - and they sell quite a few things in bulk. (don't take your kids though however- it's a MADHOUSE in there.)

I have tried gateway, but they sell tubs in mixed variety only. I am after single-nut tubs (if that makes sense!!).

the lane I am thinking of is the one with the photo shop (the tiny little 10 color.) I can't remember the exact name. But they did have BULK bags of single nuts...(I remember walnuts and almonds, but don't remember cashews.)

Sani, if only you live in GZ, there is an area in Yi De Lu where you'll find mountains of nuts and seeds, sold by bulk, reasonable too.
Great place.

If you are in Aptiva (the old Uny) in Taikoo Cityplaza, they sell nuts in the supermarket, assorted or single type.
