bread withtout preservative 282 Posted by Kim11 (141 days ago) In Australia before we moved to Hong Kong there was a big deal made about preservative 282 in bread. Apparently it causes hyperactivity and is one of the worst preservatives out there. I can not find any bread withouth 282 by any company. I found one at the bakery in Great but that is very far from where we live right now. Does anyone else know of bread without 282? (I am based in Hong Kong) Find what you are after in our Beijing A-Z Directory  Posted by axptguy38 (141 days ago) Hmmm never heard of this. In any case there's always the option of making your own. Used to do it all the time in the US when I had a big kitchen appliance. With small kitchens here perhaps a breadmaker is a good option. (I am based in Hong Kong) Posted by Kim11 (141 days ago) I can only go by labels- all bread at the grocery stores seem to have it. The bread at Great was packaged and labelled with the ingredients. Otherwise for bread not packaged I am not sure but assume it is in there. After travelling back to Canada and seeing what is available I feel like the food labels and ingredients are very far behind the rest of the world.
