Birthday Party at Aberdeen Marina Club
Posted by meiji (247 days ago)
I am not a member. I would love to host our daughter's birthday party at the AMC. I know people who aren't members, but manage to host a birthday party there, how?
I don't have million dollars, so can't consider a membership there. Any info would be appreciated!

It has to be booked by a member. Think you will find that non members who hold birthday parties there have it booked via a member. Try to find a kind member who could book it for you.

Do you know about the prices at AMC adventure zone.

yes, from memory - it is something like $120-150 a child - includes food, one drink and cake, and use of adventure zone for something like 1 hour. Any food and drinks for adults you have to order separately.

the parties at AMC are like a factory as there are a few parties going on at the same time. There is nothing personal about them. The play area is shared with others. Its also very expensive.

not true, we just had a very lovely 2nd bday party in AMC - we had the upstairs party room (in the Chill zone) and hired (for our use only - not shared) Foam factory for 1 hours - which is right next door (room with lots of foam balls, with machines shooting balls in the air etc - kids loved it) - it was very well organised and everyone loved it.

AMC Adventure Zone is amazing and the themed rooms are great- we use it for parties rather than hiring a clown and needless balloons themeing etc, the kids have a ball running around and burn off alot of energy, no sense in feeding the other parents and their helpers....its the kids that matter.
Try the Foam Factory too...if you call the Club they will sort it out for you.

the only problem is of course as mentioned above you have to be either a member or find a friend who is a memember so they can do it for you

glad to report, we had the birthday party last weekend at the AMC Adventurezone, it was absolutely the BEST birthday party we have ever hosted, and the guests were all impressed, and excited and still talking about it.
Everyone said they hope it's going to be there again next year. We'll see!
It was cheaper than the past years' birthday parties we hosted.

very glad for you meiji, it is good fun for the kids there, and quite nice for adults too! I agree, the price was not that bad at all
