Try Dr. Paul Tam. His clinic is in Sha Tin. You can call 26081599. He is really good and does acupuncture as well.

Few years ago, I tried few times. It's pretty expensive. HK$450 for one session. 30 minutes. I would say if you could claim the insurance, do it. Otherwise, would be a heavy expense.

My chiro charges HK$420 for one adjustment, which lasts from 1-3 minutes, and he tells me that I need about 70-80 of these visits. He offers a discount of about 30% if I pay upfront. After 6 weeks of 2-3 visits per week, I haven't felt any benefits yet, but I am hoping that the next xray will show that my spine is in better alignment. Having said that, his office in Central is busy as can be, and I am sure he mints money.

$420 - 1-3 minutes treatment, pay 70-80 sessions up front! thats crazy, Is there such thing as perfect spine alignment? bet the xrays weren't cheap either! You probably do more harm than good from over adjustments of your spine, making your joints hypermobile!
I'm sure most good doctors, chiros included will get things better within a course of treatment thats no more than a couple of weeks, if not they should be referring you to someone else, not scaring you to commit t up to a years' treatment! crazy!

Yes tsuiwah... I've been to that particular surgery and in my opinion, I think the patients are being well and truly ripped off. It's like something out of a snake-charming show.
See a reputable chiropractor who spents some time getting to know you and your spine...
Dr. Tyrone To Central
I don't remember his phone number, but imagine a quick call to 1081 can get it.

Can't hep you with HK chiros but I've seen one in Australia and 2 chiros in Sweden (here) and the fact that he's telling you up front that you'll need 70-80 visits sounds really odd to me. My current one (I have chronic back troubles) books me in one appointment at a time and if I'm having an awful week I might see him twice and if I'm doing OK I might go 2 months without seeing him. Whenever he books the next appointment he tells me to call and cancel if I don't need it and he's very strict about only treating the problem areas and not over treating, as it in the long term does more harm than good.
Have you thought about seing a manipulative physiotherapist? They are physios who teach you how to move your body to prevent hurting yourself and give you some excersizes to strengthen you muscles as well as doing chiropractic like adjustments.
Good luck with your spine. I know what it's like to be in pain and quite incapacitated so I really feel for you.
