bunyans

i am pretty sure i have bunyans on my feet (i am not sure if they can exist anywhere else). can anyone tell me if shanghai has podiatrists? i am sure it does if so can you give me contact info?

i have nothing but problems with my feet. when i was younger i always got athletes foot. a dr told me to keep my feet dry and always change my socks throughout the day. so i followed his advice-no more "a f". my late 20's i started getting gout. i was told to keep well hydrated and 2 stay away from "the bottle". did that and haven't had a gouty attack in a year or so. now i am 33 and my bunyans are throbbing. i am sure they must be bunyans my ma has bunyans and my fee look just like hers accept bigger. my foot only aches (around my big toe when i wear shoes. i am sure its not gout because there is no gouty symtoms exept for the ache when pressure is applied. but when i had gouty attacks i could't even lay a bed sheet over my foot.

finally, i am trying to explain this problem to my girlfriend so she can help me. but when i look up bunyan in the dictionary all i get is the story about "paul bunyan". so maybe i am spelling bunyan wrong. could you also write bunyan in chinese for me?

that wasn't the right chinese. i looked it up in my translater (spelling bunion correctly). but like always..you have been very helpful.

but it turned out to be another gouty attack. i just did't recognize it becouse it wasn't presenting the usual symtoms. until the other morn when i woke up and my foot was the size of a football and it was so painfull that i couldn't walk or stand.

gout is related to purines in food. google purines and see if you are eating any of those foods high in purines..peas for example. other research suggests dairy can help minimise or stabilise the uric acid in your body so try and have even a small tub of yoghurt each day. give it a go. gout is horrible. Unfortunately it can be hereditary too.

but you have given me new info. i have been given advice from chinese and westerners on how to manage my situation. but noone suggested the consumption of dairy to help my ailment.

you know what.........i have cut out the consuption of dairy (in my diet) for many years.
