It is most likely that you have either a pile (haemorrhoid) or a fissure (small cut in the skin/mucosa of the anus). Depending a little bit on your age, in the majority of times it is wise to have this checked with your doctor , as polyps or bowel changes may case bleeding (even fresh red blood). As quite a few patients who have bleeding actually have underlying polyps of the colon, a screening colonoscopy may be a wise procedure to undergo, as these polyps are fully treatable, and cancer can be prevented
