Moving to Beijing in August

My wife has been offered a job in Beijing. The contract is for two years. They are taking care of her visa. My question is what type of visa will I need in order to stay there for two years with her?

If I cannot find a US company willing to expatriate me, how hard will it be to gain a work visa while in Beijing that will allow me to find another job?

Your wife's company should take care of your visa as well. You need a dependant visa and residence permit. Sorry, not sure about work visa for spouse.
