3 months Freee to learn the language
Posted by Irishman (626 days ago)
HELP...
At last I now have time to learn Mandarin....I have allocated 3 months full time to the task...
I would prefer to study in a place where Mandarin is spoken as a first language.
Can anyone recommend a school or university where I could study intensively over a three month period?
I had hoped to start in March.....
Any suggestion would be most welcome.

Have you ever learned Chinese before? And what purpose that you want to study Chinese? For business, you can go to the University of International Business & Economics. For further studying Chinese languae and cultures, I recommend Beijing University or Beijing Foreign Study University.
Good lucky

Hi Yjhyoyo
Thank you for the reply.
I have been spending a lot of time in Gz over the past few years and have some Mandarin.....Obviously I have learned some of the language and probably have quiet a store of words which I now feel if I was to study with total immersion would provide the glues to bind it all together. The purpose of learning is for business but also for a sense of achievement....

Come to Bejing Normal University, man. I see lots of foreigners here learning Mandarin and we have responsible and prominent teachers. BNU is 4 top U in Beijing, after Peking U, Tsinghua U, Renmin U
