Hi Expats! My partner and I (no children), are moving over to Beijing mid 2007 for about
5-10 years due to a work transfer. Office is located Dongsish*taio Rd, Dongcheng district with my partner studying at Beijing Sports Uni - Could we please have some help on:
1. Accomodation within the Dongcheng district. We're looking for a 2 bedroom apartment Could you kindly advise what the Dongcheng district is like to live in and if not the ideal area, could you advise where to go towards.. We're trying for that district simply due Uni and work being within.
2. The Western Compounds often mentioned around - could someone point me towards their websites please.
3. Any advise you have on general living in China.
We're not bring much with us, have figured out it's cheaper to re-buy it there, then t/port it over - Thanks all so very much, any info given really appreciated.
