Yew Chung and Beijing Riveira

Looks like we could be moving to a place at Beijing Riveira. On the Surface looks like a good starting off place. Any advice on what to ask for in negotiations with owner? and what is the place like? Commute time to region of World Trade Center?
I like Yew Chung because of the Mandarin Focus that WAB does not seem to have for 3 year olds. Anyone from Riviera send their kids to Yew Chung and anyone heard anything about the school. Is Yew Chung a long commute from Riveira.

Yew Chung does not have the best of reputations so I would ask around before you actually enrol in this school. Beijing Riveira is a wonderful place and really friendly.

Beijing Riveira, I have heard and saw, a very good place to live. Very family oriented environment and safe for the children. Active Club House with lots of activities and its like a community by itself. Advice on negotiation - if you have a good agent, he/she would be able to advise you. Basically, everything is negotiateble - new furniture, slight renovation, new appliances, include utilities etc etc. Negotiation is better with private landlords, prices are flexible but with the property management , prices are quite fixed but if you need something fix down the road, property management will be more convenient.
Traffic is bad to get to World Trade from Beijing Riveira - one hour or more during rush hour at least.
Re Yew Chung, I know of a few parents who are very happy with Yew Chung and I found that the staff were very helpful and friendly when I visited. The building and location is somewhat not as sophisicated as those big international school though.

Yew Chung pays its staff considerably less than other schools, consequently the staff are generally disgruntled and unhappy. The turnover of staff is high due to cramped and poor working conditions.
The YC schools best assets are the PR people who make the place appear good.
