You have to negotiate with the landlord (if it is a private landlord) to include the membership. I was told that club membership for family of 4 cost USD7,000/year for one of the finer club house. Also, if you do intend to use the facilities of a gym within the residential complex you live in, please ensure that they have the machines you want to use. In most cases, the landlord should include clubhouse membership as part of the rental agreement. Part of the reason I rented where I did was because they seemed to have a good gym ..it was undergoing an 'upgrade' at the time we saw it, and I can tell you now, its a shame they even call it a gym after the so called upgrade finished...hence, here I am, paying through my own pocket for a facility that the landlord has provided!! don't know if you wil be negotiating with the landlord direct or not, but there are tons of hidden things out here!!
