New to Beijing

I will be studying a semester-long Chinese course at Tsinghua in September and will be in Beijing by the end of the week. This is my first time in Beijing, so I wanted to know if it would be easy finding accomodation outside uni within a couple of days, and the sort of prices I expect to be paying for a shared 2-3 apartment with furnishings and internet access. I have been left in the dark with a lot of things, hopefully everything will stumble together when I arrive. Any sort of information/tips would be muchly appreciated!
