Hi, Me again, I have asked a couple of people I know who have had babies recently if they know of any other good ones, When they get back to me (via email, So hopefully soon) I will give you the details.
Dont worry Beijing is a big place and I am sure you will find one you are happy with. I will get back to you ASAP.

Ohh just thought of one more idea you could look into in the mean time. Have you thought of contacting your embassy here in Beijing?
They should be able to provide you with a list of good hospitals that you could use. I used my to find a list of baby groups to meet other parents n stuff. might as well make them earn their money haha just kidding, actually they were very helpful, might be useful for you.

Hi, One of the ladies got back to me and she recommends the Xiehe hospital (Peking Union) just near Wangfujing. she had a C-section and for the whole lot which included four days in a room with her own with bathroom it cost no more than 15,000 yuan, she estimated it was nearer 12,000.
She said that although the nurses don't all speak English the doctors do, and she know's of other foreigners who have had babies there and have used them more than once. She said she would definetley use them again.
She did however mention that they tend to do a lot of c sections so it may be something you want to discuss with them if you would like to try a natural birth first.
I will let you know of any others as I hear of them.

Hi One of the other ladie suggested Sino Japanese. They have an international ward with a English speaking staff and she says they were great. she didnt actually have her baby here but uses for check ups and vaccinations to their PD department. She suggested the whole package including birth and the 9 months of pregnancy is $US1200 approx.
One of the other ladies suggested the American Sino, Their address:
www.americanobgyn.com - www.asog-beijing.com
No. 218 Xiao Guan Beili, Anwai, 010 - 64968888
But maybe this is the Ob/Gyn hospital? I will have to check the details again.
Hope these help!

hi there. i am also pregnant in beijing (passed the 12 weeks mark now) and very worried about the excruciatingly high prices of beijing united hospital. i have a very good british medical insurance, but even this cannot cover the ridiculous fee for prenatal check-ups and birth at bju. please let me know how you experienced peking union/ sino-japanese hospital- i may need to consider these options.
also has anybody given birth in beijing already? i am desperate to hear the experiences of other women as i am still pondering on whether to give birth in beijing or fly back home for the birth. i am especially interested in difficult births and how they were handled in bju, sino-jap or peking union. thanks! xxx

have you ever tried getting information from the British Embassy in Beijing it is hopeless. I had my first baby in the UK and I certainly wouldnt recommend that either, I think the service at most hospitals here is much better
