I'm moving to Beijing next week!Can't wait...My work place is in Dongfang East Road,Chaoyang District. Any advice of a good area to live, not very far from there?Thanx!!

There are many good areas in Beijing. Depends what your requirements are. Chaoyang is basically the expat area of Beijing. Then you have busier corners or more quiet ones. You should tell your real estate agent what you expect.

I totally agree with that. From your posting its impossible to say where would be the best place to live prices range beween 100-10.000 dollars a month and sometimes that is next to each other. The east in general is the most expensive with the top in the North east. Central south and north are cheaper and still have good access try to check there.
