I am planing on moving to Beijing within the next two years. My fiance lives there, and i need to buy an apartment for us for when we marry. I need to know the cost of apartments, just a rough estimate. I have been told that they are from $600,000rmb to $900,000rmb is that right? What is the minimum down payment? If anyone has any other information, send it on, thank you for your time.

The price of an apartment depends on many factors - location, size, floor, amenities - don't forget to factor in maintenance fees and renovation. Generally you will be able to find good mid to high range apartments for about RMB8,000 to RMB 12,000 per sqm. Expect maintenance fees of about RMB 4 to 8 per sqm/per month. Take a look at some of the real estate web sites including home2nest, joanna real estate, fullhomechina and ideal-property. Also check out the real estate guides available in most lounges/coffee shops/hotel lobbies throughout the city .

Here I have aa apt locates on chaoyangmen inner avenue,10 mins to chaoyangmen SBW.It is 72sqm,fully decorated ,hard wooden floor,the kitchen and bathroom are fully equiped.There are two new beds,tv ,sofa ,refri ,washingmachine...almost everything in it.We are planning to rent it out,but selling it is also ok.
The price is 750.ooormb for the house with all the things in it.
The building is newly built for less than 1 year,nobody has ever lived in it.
The management fee is cheaper than sdandard apt.central heating.
