where to find stowe-away matresses

hi. am expecting a bunch of guests visiting. anyone has an idea where i could buy those matresses (without springs) that i could pack away easily (the ones i could fold and hide in the cupboard when not needed).

the information came too late for me but thought i'll share this little piece of information i found.

Dong Jiao Market located south of Soho. apparently very busy and large open air market with lotsa household stuffs.

where abouts in the dong jiao market are these matresses? is it in that huge warehouse towards east at the end?

hi. Sorry I haven’t check back on the site for a while. I’ve not been there myself so I can’t give you clear directions but from the paper I’ve got it just says, “located south of Soho (east side of 2nd ring road from CWTC). Opens from 8am till 5:30pm. Tel: 8770-0511. Good luck.

Are you looking for something in particular? Maybe I can share some other places where I get the things as another option.

I've never seen mattresses at Dong Jiao in the big warehouse by the east entrance. There again, it's so big I could have quite easily missed them.

One thing to bear in mind, a mattress from Dong Jiao would be filled with all sorts of crap - if by terrible chance the mattress did catch fire, then you'd probably be gassed before a smoke detector went off.....and they can be really uncomfortable.

With something like this, I'd head to IKEA TBH.
