Welcome to China. Both Beijing and Shanghai are an ideal place for you to develop your business and to live. They are all most dynamic and biggest cities in China with driving forces in economic development and, most importantly, abundant talent resources available for hunting. According to the statistics, there are almost 230,000 permanent expatriate residents living in Beijing whereas more than 100,000 living in Shanghai. Usually, USD2,500-5,000 could have a house in Shunyi villa area(near airport), USD2,000-3,000 could have a decent 3bedroom western apartment, and USD1,000 or so could have not-bad apartment like local people live. Schooling in Beijing
A number of international schools are running successfully both in down town working areas (near Embassy areas) and in the expatriate residential communities.
