Hi Nihau,
Had my first treatment - a laser type light is applied to the skin and the hairs are burnt- as are the follicles so apparently no regrowth- I have only had 1 treatment and have 2 more to go so will let you know the final result. It feels like a small electric shock but doesn't hurt. It isn't cheap though.

I'll reply to my own forum- They do laser at Beijing United but I have also found another method called IPL-they are both really expensive . I'm going ahead with IPL at a Beauty Salon near the Kerry Centre called Daisy's.

They charge around Y3200 for your bikini line and this is for 3 treatments. After the first treatment they ask you to go back in a week so they can make sure all is ok. You then go back for the next treatment in 2 months. They ask you not to expose to sunlight.

What is IPL? Is it painful? Do you know how much it would cost for legs and underarms?
