I'll be oving to Beijing for a year too.I'd put up a similar post some days ago.Thanks so much for the number Anil,I'm sure it'll be invaluable.
Also,after scouting around on the internet someone suggested I try the grocery store next to Indian Kitchen which is locatd in No.2,Sanlitun,Beixiaojie,Chaoyang District,BJ

the No.2,Sanlitun,Beixiaojie branch is closed,now you can get things at a small shop its opp to sanlitun police station.there you can get all the spices haldiram chiwda tarmind jaggery,dosa mix idli mix pudhina bhindi mustard haldi tajmahal tea elachi,gulab jamun and rasgulla if you are south indian you can also get pysam mix

or you can tell a taxi driver
sanlitun paichusuo (that's "san lee toon pie choo sor") That's the name of the police station. All taxi drivers should know that.

Nearby Indian Kitchen, there is a shop selling Indian Groceries, otherwise you can contact Indian Kitchen Manager Mr. Satish for guidence. They have all products, but the supply will be done from Zhuhai Indian Kitchen Spices Company. Please call 0756-3395952 for their product list or info@indiankitchen.com.cn
